Mrs. Oluyemisi Oluseyi Padonu
PRINCIPAL
OLUYEMISI OLUSEYI
PADONU holds
a Master of Education in Mathematics Education, a Post Graduate Diploma in
Education, a Bachelor of Science and Technology in Material Science and
Technology.
She
is an educationist par excellence, who has had over 34 years experience, as a
committed teacher, hardworking Head of Department, a Vice Principal
(Administration and Academics) and a focused and visionary Principal. She has attended many international and
national seminar and workshop. She is a
practising Christians and a Lay Preacher of Methodist Church Nigeria.
She
has been a member of Freeman Memorial Methodist Church and held various posts
in the local churches, Diocese and Arch-Diocese levels

is an efficient and goal oriented Administrator, who believes in moulding the
lives of young ones, particularly teenage girls, into spiritually vibrant,
morally upright, academically sound and physically fit ladies of substance,
with high standard, positively impacting on their society nationally and
internationally.
Her
motto is, “Whatever your hands find to do, do it well with all your heart”. No
wonder she pursues with vigour, her passion to educate the girl child with all
commitment, dynamism and versatility.
Such
cliché and adage as ‘Catch them young; Train a child the way to go, when he/she
grows up, she will never depart from it”, and many other, etc are her driving
force.
Hobbies – Giving motivational talks, Reading, Writing and Singing.

MR. JOSEPH ADEBOWALE OYEGBILE
V.P ACADEMIC
Joseph
Adebowale Oyegbile is currently the Vice Principal Academics of Methodist Girls
High School, Yaba, Lagos. He holds a Bachelor degree in Chemistry Education in
addition to Nigeria Certificate in Education. He had his course work for
Masters of Education degree in Planning and Administration.
He
has over 27 years cumulative experience in School Management at both Vice
Principal and Principal levels.
He
is resourceful, self-motivated, organised and people oriented with pastoral
touch. His independent mind had attracted him awards in various schools. He
believes in the Youths and they have confidence in him.
He is a member of Nigeria Institute for
Training and Development (NITAD), Society of Educational Administration of
Nigeria (SEAN), Science Teachers Association of Nigeria
(STAN), Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) and Teachers Registration Council
of Nigeria (TRCN).

MRS. SHODIPE-ISHIEKWENE OPEOLUWA IBITAYO
V.P ADMINISTRATION
Shodipe-Ishiekwene Opeoluwa is currently the Vice Principal Administration of Methodist Girls' High School Yaba.
She bagged a Bachelor of Education in Guidance and Counseling/CRS in the University of Lagos.
She proceeded to obtain Masters degree in Guidance and Counselling in the same University.
She also has certification in NCE, TC11, and a Diploma in THEOLOGY.
She started her teaching career at a very young age and has served in different categories as subject teacher, class teacher, school counselor, head of schools and vice principal.
Opeoluwa plays prominent roles in seeing that Methodist Girls' High School maintains her standards in all aspect. She serves as the liason officer between the school, the parents and the Old Girls. She translated the School song from English to Yoruba.
She is the global social secretary of the old girls association, she is a force to reckon with and a power broker.
She is a philanthropist within her limits and a lover of all. She is most notably a lover of children and a role model worthy of emulation.
Mary Opeoluwa Ibitayo Shodipe-Ishiekwene is humble, fair in judgement and she renders her service unto the Lord also as a Lady Evangelist.
She has served under many Principals and proprietress of Schools who recommends her highly and considers her to be intelligent, smart, hardworking, and humble.
Opeoluwa has led many committees and won many awards both for herself and the School.
